Elton John has revealed that he is helping Eminem in his battle with drug addiction.
People magazine reports the 62-year-old, who has been open about his own past addiction issues, as saying, “I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly.”
In May, Eminem admitted to a severe substance abuse problem that at one point led him to taking up to 20 Vicodin, Ambien and Valium in a day.
The rapper and the British musician have stayed friends since they performed together at the Grammy Awards in 2001.
