China has decided to ban AVATAR from over 1,628 theaters.
The reason behind the ban? Simply because the movie is the highest grossing movie in China history (73.2 million).
China would rather have it's own domestic movies make money and not foreign ones.
Therefor, they are replacing it with Chow Yun-Fat's latest about Confucius.
