T.I. is halfway free

T.I. has been released from prison in Arkansas today to spend the remainder of his sentence in an Atlanta halfway house.

The rapper was sentenced to 366 days behind bars for possession of firearms by a convicted felon and has served about seven months. For the next few months while he is in the halfway house, he will be free to leave during the day for employment or health reasons.

After T.I. has finished serving his time, he will have to spend and additional 23 days in house arrest and then complete 500 hours of community service.
